I first met Wayne in Hohne in 1963. I arrived with John (Tug) Wilson and we were put in a transit room untill they decided where we were going. On our first night in Germany, Wayne and Sandy came to introduce themselves, and then took us to Bergen, to introduce us to a drink called "ratsipus" or somthing similar. The next two days were lost to Tug and me in a haze of sleep and walking around like zombies. I will always remember Wayne for his big grin and his ready wit.
