Michelle took me up to Colne cemetery to lay Wayne's Christmas wreath. I laid his wreath which was from Bernard, Pam, Mark and Anne Michelle and myself. I laid it with love sent from all of us who loved him. You will make many acquaintances throughout your life but you will make only a very few number of friends. Wayne was a special person, this would have been his first year as a pensioner something we would have joked about with him and took the mickey out him about, he would have loved it. Whilst we were there I took a couple of photographs of the view facing the plot he is now resting in and I think he would have loved it, it is such a beautiful view. We spent an hour with him and as usual I said a prayer for him, I gave thanks that he will no longer have to suffer in this life and at the same time I told God how much we missed him and wished that he was still here with us. It is so easy these days to either have no belief or faith when so much in this world is so cruel and unforgiving yet I am so happy that my own faith in God is so strong. I wish I could wave a wand and like some happy ending in a Hollywood movie, all would magically become how we wish it would be. For now I can only tell people what a great loss we feel, now that we can no longer talk and laugh with our dear friend, God bless you Wayne, God bless you dear friend and Merry Christmas.
